JAUME MASIA VICTORY IN ARGENTINA

Jaume Masia is taking giant steps to become Moto3 world champion. After debuting in the world championship in 2017, doing 4 races with promising results; the following year it would dispute its first complete world-wide championship and it would gain the title of Rookie of the Year. This season is the one of his confirmation, he was the fastest in the preseason tests in Jerez, but then he would be injured in the Andalusian track and, consequently, could not be competitive in the first race of the year in Qatar, where he would retire after being hit by another rider.

Three weeks later, he would arrive at the Argentine circuit of Termas de Río Hondo to face the second race of the World Championship in better physical conditions; the results would be amazing. Pole Position on Saturday and victory on Sunday in a crazy race where 15 riders would fight for victory until the end. Masia would be the most skillful driver in the last lap and would be placed first before crossing the finish line, nobody would snatch the victory.

La RAW Super Drink rider, would comment after crossing the finish line:

"It's a day to enjoy. On the straight it was very difficult for me to overtake. It was a continuous fight. I tried not to lose position in each braking and I managed to catch the perfect slipstream. I was able to overtake Rodrigo and I was lucky that no one was ahead of me and winning."

The next race, the Grand Prix of the Americas. From April 12 to 14 in Austin (T exas).
